Collection of access data

The delivery and display of content via our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are collected by us or the web space provider. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you or your person. The corresponding information consists of the name of the website, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you entered our site, and the corresponding IP address. We use this data to display and deliver our content and for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and continuous improvement of our offer. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the data mentioned, if there is suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

Third-party content and services

The offer on our website may also include content, services and benefits from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or graphic representations from third parties. Accessing these third-party services regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This enables these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to store it. We make every effort to only include third-party providers who use IP addresses solely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider stores the IP address. This storage can be used for statistical purposes, for example. If we become aware of storage processes by third parties, we will inform our users of this fact immediately. In this context, please also note the special data protection declarations for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website.

You can also find them in this data protection declaration.

You can sign up to receive our newsletter on our website. We need your email address for this. We also need to check, in compliance with the relevant legal regulations, whether you are actually the owner of the email address provided and whether you would like to receive the newsletter (double opt-in procedure). We therefore collect information that makes such a check possible. The data collected in this context is used to send and receive newsletters, no data will be passed on to third parties. No further data is collected from us other than the information necessary to send the newsletter. Since sending and receiving the newsletter depends on your consent, you can revoke this consent to the collection and storage of your data at any time without giving reasons. To do this, use the “unsubscribe link” provided in the newsletter.

SSL- encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when it comes to transmitting confidential or personal content from our users. This encryption is activated, for example, when processing payments and when you send us enquiries via our website. Please ensure that SSL encryption is activated on your side when you carry out such activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: the display in your browser line changes from “http://” to “https://”. Data encrypted using SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated and contact us if in doubt.

Facebook Plug-in

You will find plug-ins from the social network Facebook on our website. Its provider is Facebook Inc., based in the USA, California 94025, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park. The Facebook logo or the “Like button” on our page identifies the Facebook plug-in for you. Please also note the overview of Facebook plug-ins at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our website, we establish a direct connection to the Facebook server via the plug-in. You are then redirected there via your browser. This informs Facebook that you have visited our website using your IP address. By clicking on the Facebook “Like button” you link content from our website to your profile on Facebook. Facebook associates your visit to our page with your user account. We have no knowledge of the type of content that is sent to Facebook or how Facebook uses it. You can find more information about data collection and data usage in the Facebook privacy policy, which you can find at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. You can prevent your visit to our site from being associated with your Facebook profile by simply logging out of your Facebook account beforehand.

Google AdWords

We use Google AdWords, an online advertising program from Google Inc., on our website. Conversion tracking is also used. With this tool, Google AdWords places a cookie on your PC when you come to our website via a Google ad. The cookie is no longer valid after 30 days. It is not used for personal traceability. If you visit our website as a user and the cookie is still working, we and Google can see that you clicked on the corresponding ad and were redirected to our site. Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across the AdWords customers’ websites. The data obtained through conversion cookies is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers. We as customers thus find out the total number of users who responded to our ad and were then redirected to a website that has been provided with a conversion tracking tag. During this process, we do not receive any information with which we could personally identify you as a user. If you reject the tracking process, the Google Conversion Tracking cookie can be deactivated via your Internet browser. If necessary, use the browser’s help function for further information. You can find out more about Google’s data protection regulations at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). Use includes the “Universal Analytics” operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze a user’s activities across devices.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Section 15 Paragraph 3 German Telemedia Act (TMG) and Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. The data we send and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). Opt-out cookies prevent your data from being collected in the future when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must opt out on all systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Deactivate Google Analytics
